Buzz..Buzz...

Happy Spring!!

Kyla picked her birthday dinner date.."Fredbird's House", aka Red Robin...good times!

We've been busy little bees around here lately...We have our veggie garden and herbs all ready to grow. My two little helpers loved digging for worms while planting the seeds. This year we mixed things up a bit, we of course had to plant Sugar Snap Peas (kyla's fav), but we also added beets, peppers and broccoli in with the tomatoes and green beans. I wish I had pictures of them in the garden, but like most of our daily adventures, fumbling with a camera would hinder the moment....and then there are those rare times that I just HAVE to run and grab that camera to snap a "Kodak Moment" before it's magically cleaned up.

Ash sure knows how to make friends around here, just open a bag of cereal and throw it to the dogs...Kyla makes friends with a goat (stl children's zoo) by brushing his back.

Kyla, as you can see, is quite proud of her new number. Being four seems to have converted our little girl into a "big girl" overnight. She just seems so much more inquisitive, empathetic, kindhearted, even patient. In fact at her family birthday party she didn't want anything to do with opening gifts, she just wanted to play with all her cousins...a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e. Maybe the 'trying threes' are turning into the 'fantastic fours!'

We're off to see the wizard....yep, you guessed it, Kyla celebrated with her favorite crew. It's funny how our kids are so into the "oldie" show tunes. They'd honestly both pick watching "the Wizard" over any new Disney cartoon flick. The newest DVD added to the show tune collection is "Mary Poppins." Kyla recognized "Maria" (Julie Andrews from the "Sound of Music" on the cover and had to buy her "new" movie! ha..new!) Our kid movie collection seems a bit old school... just makes me giggle.

Here a a few of my favorite pics that I just uploaded from the last three months. (Hey, keeping up with computer stuff is definitely not top priority for this mama!:) Nothing special going on, just hanging around the house, enjoying a bit of creative playtime. Whether it's dressing up as a pirate, taking a stroll, or nursing a baby doll while eating a snack (that's my girl!), these kiddos are always finding a way to enjoy the day...

We have so much news to share in the next post. We made a couple crazy purchases last week!...chirp, chirp!
